Don Goldstein was raised in a very loving, Conservative Jewish home. He graduated Hebrew school and went to Shabbat services, as was expected of all "good Jewish boys." Even though he could read Hebrew fluently and, of course, read from the Torah at his Bar Mitzvah, he never felt he got anything really meaningful out of his Judaism. Then, when he was 30, he was introduced to information in his Hebrew Scriptures that he had never heard before. Finally he understood true inner peace and joy. He also received the understanding of why he was alive and what his destiny was.
