Think of it this way . We consider the rabbi, pastor, or priest to be the head, and he is . But isn’t the person who runs the kitchen or the sound booth, or the cleaning person also the head? Each is the head of their own ministry . The hand is very important and performs certain functions very well . The eyes and the feet clearly need the hand . But so does the hand need the eye to see . If the eye would not cooperate with the hand, how would the hand know how far to reach to grab something? So the eye is the head of the seeing ministry as the hand is the head of its own ministry . We all need to work together, none thinking they are better than another, for in unity and harmony we work most effectively.
