How can someone like me become useful to G-d?

This is first and foremost accomplished through your becoming HUMBLE! 

Numbers 12:3 Now Moses was more humble than any other person on earth.

2 Chronicles 7:14 Then if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land. 

Psalm 25:9 He leads the humble in what is right, teaching them His way. 

Psalm 69:32 The humble will see their G-d at work and be glad. Let all who seek G-d's help live in joy. 

Psalm 138:6 Though the LORD is great, He cares for the humble, but He keeps His distance from the proud. 

Psalm 149:4 For the LORD delights in His people; He crowns the humble with salvation. 

Isaiah 57:15 The high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, the Holy One, says this: "I live in that high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I refresh the humble and give new courage to those with repentant hearts.

Daniel 10:12 Then he said, "Don't be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your G-d, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer.

Matthew 11:29 Take My yoke upon you. Let Me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls. 

James 4:7 So humble yourselves before G-d. Resist the Devil, and he will flee from you. 

1Peter 5:6 So humble yourselves under the mighty power of G-d, and in His good time He will honor you. 

Becoming G-d’s servant.

y this time you should realize that in order to do the will of G-d, you are also going to have to relinquish the driver’s seat and become a servant. For me, a self starter, an entrepreneur, and a proud man this was HARD! The ones who I feel the worst for are my wife and kids. They had to go through G-d dragging me behind a car with a chain attached to my feet. I must have heard my dad play Frank Sinatra records too often because “I did it my way” was how I ran my life. When I finally was willing to say, “OK Lord I will try it YOUR WAY”, I was older and my family had paid the price for my arrogance. So here is my written sincere apology Jackie, David, Erin, Adam, and Matt. I hope you will forgive me and learn from my mistakes.

Matthew 20:26-28 But among you it should be quite different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must become your slave.  For even I, the Son of Man (Yeshua), came here not to be served but to serve others, and to give My life as a ransom for many."

Did you write something like: A servant finds out what his master wants him to do and then he does it? 

That is the world’s view . In most peoples understanding we’re to find out what G-d wants and then we go off and figure out how to do it .

G-d wants you to adjust your life to His perfect plan so you can make the maximum impact on the world around you.
