Yourself

Read and meditate on a Scripture that will speak to your heart.  Something you would like to memorize.

Something that you would like to “spiritually become”.

Example:

Create in me a clean heart, O G-d, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.  Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.  Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and sustain me with a willing spirit.  Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners will turn to You.   Psalm 51:10-13

Ask G-d to speak to you

He might have done so throughout your quiet time

Just be quiet and do nothing for a couple minutes waiting for impressions in your mind and heart from the Lord.

Pray in your own words to end the time.

When you talk (pray) with G-d, (I didn’t say TO G-d) you are in FACT actually in His presence whether you “feel” like it or not. When you became one of His children, you were given the authority to enter into His presence at any time, with the FULL assurance that He would be attentive to your discussion!

Ephesians 3:12 Because of Messiah and our faith in Him, we can now come fearlessly into G-d's presence, assured of His glad welcome.

Think about that…

Think about that some more…

G-d is anxious to talk with you! He loves you!

Proverbs 1:7 Fear (reverence) of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge (knowing what to do). Only fools despise wisdom and discipline.

But here is reality again . While you are praying and waiting for direction, here is what people would have you to do .

Don’t just stand there, DO SOMETHING!  But G-d would prefer… Don’t just do something, STAND THERE!
